Product Overview

The Shallow Air Flotation System is a cutting-edge solution designed to handle high load impacts while ensuring stable and efficient wastewater treatment. By incorporating the principles of "shallow pool theory" and "zero velocity", this system achieves rapid separation of suspended solids, oils, and impurities. Its highly integrated design, compact structure, and low operating costs make it ideal for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

The system ensures stable operation even under heavy load conditions, delivering high removal efficiency and consistent effluent quality — all while minimizing energy consumption and operational costs.


How It Works

  1. Coagulation and Flocculation

    • Raw water enters the mixing reactor where coagulants and flocculants are added, forming separable flocs.

  2. Micro-Bubble Formation

    • Micro-bubbles (5–10μm) are released by the dissolved air release mechanism and attach to the flocs, forming a floating air-bearing body with a specific gravity lower than water.

  3. Separation and Collection

    • The floating flocs rise to the surface, forming scum that is efficiently scraped into the collection tank by the scum scraper.

    • The water inlet, outlet, and scum outlet are all integrated into the pool area for streamlined operation.

  4. Water Distribution and Collection

    • The rotating water distribution mechanism, water collection mechanism, and dissolved gas release mechanism work in sync to maintain even flow and stable operation.
