Seamless Stainless Steel Pickled Pipe for High-Performance Oil and Gas Applications in Chemical Processing

Stainless Steel304 Core Performance 1. Corrosion Resistance - Excellent performance in oxidizing environments (e.g., atmosphere, freshwater, nitric acid). - Good resistance to organic acids (e.g. acetic acid) and food media. - Limitations: Prone to pitting or stress corrosion in chloride-containing (Cl⁻) environments (seawater, salt spray), 316 stainless steel is required instead. 2. Mechanical Properties - Medium strength (tensile strength approx. 520-750 MPa), which can be significantly increased by cold working (e.g. stamping, drawing). - High plasticity and toughness, suitable for deep drawing, bending and other molding processes. 3. Temperature Adaptability - High temperature: Oxidation temperature up to 870°C, short-term tolerance up to 925°C. - Low temperature: It still retains good toughness at -196°C, which is suitable for cryogenic equipment.
