Product Description

NM450HiTemp High-Temperature and Wear-Resistant Steel

NM450HiTemp is a newly developed high-performance wear-resistant steel designed to maintain excellent strength and toughness under high-temperature conditions. It offers outstanding resistance to wear, oxidation, and thermal degradation, making it ideal for applications where both durability and heat resistance are essential.

Key Properties:

  • Tensile Strength: ≥1300 MPa (Typical: 1500 MPa)

  • Elongation After Fracture: ≥8%

  • Excellent High-Temperature Performance: Stable mechanical properties maintained at 300–600°C

Performance Advantages:

At 500°C, NM450HiTemp retains a tensile strength of 907 MPa, approximately 1.5 times higher than ordinary wear-resistant steels at the same temperature level. Even at 600°C, its strength remains about three times that of NM450, showing exceptional thermal stability.
After continuous exposure for 48 hours at 300–500°C, the steel maintains a tensile strength of up to 1219 MPa, ensuring reliable long-term performance in harsh environments.

Applications:

NM450HiTemp is widely used in industries such as mining, construction, metallurgy, cement, power generation, and heavy machinery, where components are exposed to both abrasion and high temperatures.

Benefits:

  • Superior wear and heat resistance

  • High strength retention at elevated temperatures

  • Extended service life and reduced maintenance cost
